In 1942, to replace the radio station 11-AK placed in two cars, was created RSB-F - upgraded in the first months of the war bomber radio station, housed in a van of GAZ-AAA truck. Range of communication reaches 300-1500 km depending on the type of antenna, and mode of operation. It used a sensitive superheterodyne receiver and transmitter with a crystal-controlled frequency.
